We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Carbon60 Careers. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance work associated with all electrical systems, including planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance requests.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed to schedule and to a high standard.
  • Isolate defective equipment from power supply, check visually for faults, test for faults, isolate the problem areas and take corrective action to repair the problem.
  • Install electrical systems and associated equipment, followed by the appropriate certification.
  • Respond to maintenance requests as directed by management.
  • Comply with all company procedures and policies.
  • Participate in the on-call system, which may require becoming an authorized person for relevant competency.

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and associated equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
