About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Architect to lead our Mobile App and Front End teams. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions for both customer-facing and internal applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UX design, team management, and technical leadership. You'll be expected to mentor and support engineers in their growth and development, while also working closely with UI/UX designers and Product Management to refine applications and create optimal user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead customer experience Front End and Mobile Engineers on projects for users and ensure high performance on both mobile and web.
  • Mentor and support engineers in growth and development.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers and Product Management to refine applications and create optimal user experiences.
  • Develop and optimize front-end functionalities using React and other technologies.
  • Support Product Management's conversion rate optimization goals.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software solutions with up-to-date technology.
  • Ensure high quality through enhanced monitoring and alerting.
  • Lead by example, manage team leads, and mentor junior developers contributing to the team's knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure code integrity standards and oversee the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage on-call rotations across the customer experience engineering team.
Requirements
  • Strong background in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on front-end technologies.
  • Significant experience of multi-team people management, and experience managing teams of 10+ in size.
  • Demonstrable experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting customer-facing conversion issues.
  • Deep expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and strong knowledge of the React framework.
  • Comprehensive understanding of browser internals.
  • Strong understanding of the multi-platform mobile development lifecycle, including design, architecture, deployment, and maintenance across platforms using Kotlin, Swift, and React Native.
  • Experience with API integrations, including RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC.
  • Demonstrable experience of user tracking technologies and constraints, including cookies, third-party cookie restrictions, and their use in conversion rate optimization and revenue attribution.
  • Knowledge of tracking technologies like Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Segment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, juggling tactical and strategic deliverables effectively.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and good familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (git).
  • Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance.
  • Experience in programmatic buying or a background working in or with digital agencies.
