About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Architect to lead our Mobile App and Frontend teams. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions for both customer-facing and internal applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead customer experience Front End and Mobile Engineers on projects for users and ensure high performance on both mobile and web.
- Mentor and support engineers in growth and development, providing guidance and feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and Product Management to refine applications and create optimal user experiences.
- Develop and optimize front-end functionalities using React and other relevant technologies.
- Support Product Management's conversion rate optimization goals and ensure that our applications are designed to meet the needs of our customers.
- Maintain and enhance existing software solutions with up-to-date technology, ensuring that our applications are secure, stable, and performant.
- Ensure high quality through enhanced monitoring and alerting, and lead by example in terms of code integrity and software development lifecycle.
- Manage on-call rotations across the customer experience engineering team and ensure that our applications are always available and performing well.
- Strong background in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on front-end technologies.
- Significant experience of multi-team people management, with a proven track record of leading teams of 10+ in size.
- Demonstrable experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting customer-facing conversion issues.
- Deep expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and strong knowledge of the React framework.
- Comprehensive understanding of browser internals and a strong understanding of the multi-platform mobile development lifecycle.
- Experience with API integrations, including RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Demonstrable experience of user tracking technologies and constraints, including cookies, third-party cookie restrictions, and their use in conversion rate optimization and revenue attribution.
- Knowledge of tracking technologies like Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Segment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, juggling tactical and strategic deliverables effectively.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and good familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (git).
- Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance.
- Experience in programmatic buying or a background working in or with digital agencies.
