As an accounting semi-senior, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting a varied client base
  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Preparing income and expenditure accounts for clients as required
  • Managing bookkeeping and accounting records
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
  • Providing excellent service to clients by answering queries and supporting their needs
  • Working closely with the senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects
  • Contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACA/AAT or ACCA qualification or studying
  • Demonstrable experience of working within an accountancy practice
  • Competence in producing accounts files for SMBs
  • Competence in preparing personal and corporate tax computations
  • Excellent bookkeeping knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing VAT returns for submission

This is a long-term learning opportunity for anyone with in excess of 18 months' Practice experience and keen to propel their career to the next level.
