Job Overview

Stirling Council is initiating a new minibus service for a pilot project, and we are seeking a skilled driver to join this innovative venture. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of the service from its inception.

As a driver, you will be responsible for operating Council vehicles, providing transportation for community members on local bus routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service abilities and be comfortable handling cash transactions.

The position will be based at a designated depot, with part-time opportunities available.

Candidates should ideally have prior experience in driving Public Service Vehicles (PSV) and must hold at least a category D1 license. Strong communication skills, basic numeracy, and the ability to work independently are essential. Additionally, the role requires physical capability to assist passengers as needed.

Previous training in Midas and familiarity with safety and mobility aids for accessible vehicles is preferred, along with a First Aid certification.
