About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Curriculum Specialist Co-Ordinator to join our team at Bournemouth & Poole College. As a key member of our Curriculum Administration Team, you will provide administrative support to our academic staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for students and staff, providing administrative support and answering queries.
  • Provide administrative support to academic staff, including taking messages, liaising with staff and parents, and writing letters to students/parents.
  • Build and maintain links with curriculum teams, providing support in areas such as minute-taking and attending training and events.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of curriculum areas, including communicating timetable changes, reporting and recording staff and student absence/lateness, and ordering stationery.
Requirements
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths.
  • Appropriate qualification to level 2/3 standard.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment and managing a diverse caseload.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good command of the English language and grammar.
  • Understanding of GDPR, data protection, and health and safety requirements.
