Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable teacher to join our team as a Primary Education Specialist in a thriving and successful primary school in the Cambridgeshire area.

About the Role: As a Primary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for teaching a lower KS2 class of 25 pupils. The position is part-time and is set to last until July, with the opportunity of a permanent contract being offered depending on your performance and the class's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn.
  • Work alongside a qualified Teaching Assistant to provide overall class support, as well as work within small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils.
  • Utilize your professional level of classroom management skills to create a stimulating and interactive learning environment.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the curriculum and be able to adapt your teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Engage with parents and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to education.

Requirements:

  • Hold a professional teaching qualification and have a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Have a professional level of classroom management skills and be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn.
  • Be immediately available for work and have a reliable means of transportation.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and parents.
