Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated High Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad Education. As a High Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of young children in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Class Teacher: Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Lead Small Group Sessions: Lead small group sessions and 1:1 interventions to support students who require additional support.
  • Assessment and Monitoring: Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress to ensure they meet their learning goals.
  • Resource Development: Contribute to the development of educational resources and activities that promote student engagement and learning.
  • Cover for Class Teachers: Provide cover for class teachers as required, ensuring continuity of learning and minimal disruption to students.
  • Promoting School Values: Promote the school's values and ethos through positive interactions with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Hold HLTA (High Level Teaching Assistant) or an equivalent qualification.
  • DBS and Eligibility: Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad Education) and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • Behaviour Management: Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
