Commercial Sales Supervisor

This role involves collaborating closely with and overseeing the current sales and customer service teams within the organization to assist them in managing sales-related inquiries and tasks while ensuring a positive customer experience when interacting with clients.

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to sales inquiries via phone and addressing customer questions
  • Managing sales-related emails and contact submissions
  • Handling administrative sales tasks as directed by senior management
  • Updating customer pricing lists and quotes as necessary
  • Processing automated orders from client portals
  • Addressing customer service inquiries as needed
  • Ensuring the sales team remains focused on efficiently managing all customer requests
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Director on significant sales initiatives and promotional strategies
  • Assisting the marketing team with ongoing product promotion ideas
  • Following up on outstanding inquiries to ensure resolution on a daily basis

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Accompanying sales team members to client meetings as required
  • Participating in industry trade exhibitions
  • Working closely with production and planning departments to update internal forecasts under the guidance of senior management

At Kuda Automotive, we take pride in our partnerships with some of the leading truck manufacturers, fleets, and their drivers. This role will primarily focus on management within the sales team, supporting the Commercial Director, and will involve frontline responsibilities in handling a busy phone line, necessitating a confident phone demeanor and the ability to tailor your communication to meet the needs of various customers.

You will receive direct training and oversight from the Commercial Director, along with support from other senior leaders in the organization, providing you with hands-on experience across many facets of a sales role.

We are looking for an individual eager to advance their sales career and establish a solid customer base while managing a team in an exciting and fast-paced industry.

This is an office-based position with some travel for meetings as necessary. Remote work is not an option.

Desired qualifications:

  • A confident individual with a strong desire to learn
  • Prior experience in sales management or team leadership
  • Ability to quickly retain and recall information as needed
  • Excellent phone etiquette and comfort in engaging with clients
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of crafting polite and informative emails
  • Proficient in mathematics
  • A methodical approach to work, with the flexibility to adapt quickly when required
  • Good computer skills, with prior experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Sage 50 Accounts preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
  • A foundational understanding of eCommerce and online sales principles
  • Trustworthy and punctual
  • A basic understanding of business fundamentals, including profit margins and discounts
  • A full, clean UK driving license is preferred

Compensation package:

Starting salary is negotiable based on experience. Candidates with existing sales management experience, particularly in the commercial vehicle or automotive sectors, will be given strong consideration, and a competitive salary will be discussed as necessary.

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM)
