Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

Evidence of Foundation Degree/Apprenticeship Level Study (Level 5) and Functional Skills at Level 2 (Literacy and numeracy/ GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths).

Desirable Criteria

Mentorship/coaching qualification or supervisory experience; recognized training/qualification in breastfeeding support.

Experience

Essential Criteria

Minimum of 2 years' experience in supporting breastfeeding within the NHS or community and voluntary sectors; experience working as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office and various IT applications (E-Pay/E-roster/AT-P/CIS).

Desirable Criteria

Experience in a community setting.

Essential Criteria

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written); ability to organize own workload; capacity to adapt to change; ability to use initiative; moderate IT skills.
