Production Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team at Qualitair Aviation Group, a Randstad Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer-supplied work package paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring seamless integration into our maintenance environment.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of customer-supplied work packs to create a comprehensive company work pack, including tooling requirements and external agency organization.
  • Import customer-supplied work packages into our computer system, ensuring all associated maintenance data and referenced documents are attached.
  • Identify key milestones, including parts and tooling/resource requirements, for planned maintenance and collaborate with Resource to ensure adequate manpower levels.
  • Liaise with third-party providers to schedule tasks considering human factors and safety critical tasks.
  • Perform 100% audits of completed paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Scan and return completed work packages to customers within agreed SLA guidelines.
  • Support Check Managers during maintenance inputs and procedural audits.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of reporting tools, such as Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace/Engineering/Manufacturing/Construction sectors.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Previous experience in a P145 planning environment is preferred.
