Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office and events venue premises.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Hoovering/mopping, cleaning washrooms and kitchens, carrying out deep cleans as required, and using buffers and carpet cleaners.
- Health and Safety: Ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly, removing waste, replenishing consumables and supplies, and attending reactive jobs (spillages).
- Customer Service: Working alongside our clients and their staff to provide excellent customer service and support.
Person Specification:
- Communication Skills: Must be well-presented and a good communicator.
- Attitude and Demeanour: Must have a can-do attitude and a polite and approachable demeanour.
- Time Management and Attendance: Hardworking and proactive, with good timekeeping and attendance records.
- Previous Experience: Previous cleaning experience preferred, with a focus on unsupervised work and prioritizing workload.
- Customer Service and Leadership Skills: Strong customer service/care and leadership skills.
- Problem Solving and Time Management: Problem-solving and time management skills desired.
- Flexibility and Proactivity: Flexible and proactive attitude essential.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding and knowledge of health and safety policies.
