Energy and Sustainability Manager

The Arora Group is seeking an experienced Energy and Sustainability Manager to join their team. The role involves developing a strategy to grow a commercial finance loan book of Energy, Renewable, and ESG assets.

This is a fully office-based role at the Arora Group Head Office. The ideal candidate will possess competency, dynamism, and adaptability to operate within a fast-paced commercial environment. Communication skills are key, as the successful candidate will need to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive energy management strategy
  • Optimizing Building Energy Management systems to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions
  • Implementing best practices for energy conservation and sustainability
  • Leading awareness of environmental issues and promoting a culture of sustainability within the organization
  • Managing the development of utility metering and monitoring systems
  • Staying informed of developments in the ESG Agenda and leading the development of Net Zero Carbon Roadmaps
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize energy-saving opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers and contractors
  • Monitoring and reporting on energy consumption and sustainability metrics

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in energy management and sustainability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Chartered status or equivalent
  • Familiarity with cloud technology and energy management systems
