Housing Mobile Night Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Mobile Night Worker to join our team at YMCA DownsLink Group. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our residents, particularly during the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide floating support to our teams in high support 24-hour projects, medium support, and transitional housing units.
- Ensure properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night.
- Work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents.
- Complete one-to-one interventions with young people experiencing mental health crises or requiring medical assistance.
- Monitor CCTV and maintain health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a passion for working with young people, particularly those who are vulnerable or have complex needs. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to engage, motivate, and inspire our residents. As a lone worker, you will need to be comfortable with decision-making and following procedures.
Requirements:
- Full valid UK driving licence.
- Experience working with young people, preferably in a support role.
- Ability to demonstrate a real passion for working with young people.
- Strong commitment to changing the lives of others for the better.
