Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and professional School Administrative Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the reception team, including answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, and managing the front desk.
  • Assisting students with queries during breaks and lunchtimes, and providing general administrative support to the team during quieter times.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, and ensuring that the correct processes are followed regarding signing in and out.
  • Providing a warm welcome to the school and maintaining a professional telephone manner and personal demeanor.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.

Requirements:

  • A professional telephone manner and personal demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a school administrative role, with a strong understanding of administrative procedures and protocols.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • A full DBS disclosure, and a willingness to undergo additional checks as required.
