Job Title: Drilling and Well Control Manager

Atlas Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Drilling and Well Control Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Drilling Systems Team, you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of our drilling and well control solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sit on the Development Board with Drilling Systems Team Members to drive innovation and improvement.
  2. Hold the Software Manager accountable for meeting OTR development requirements.
  3. Work closely with the Support Manager to ensure timely resolution of OTR issues.
  4. Lead regular team meetings to discuss technical support and content development.
  5. Provide customer demonstrations and training on our drilling and well control solutions.
  6. Oversee all rig visits, ensuring effective customer communication and account management.
  7. Control the development and testing of new features and changes.
  8. Manage new content development and drive the implementation of new learning content.
  9. Participate in exhibitions and events as required.
  10. Collaborate with customers to ensure our product development roadmap aligns with their needs.
  11. Travel regularly to company locations, client sites, and other relevant destinations.
Requirements:
  1. Proactive, accurate, and detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  2. Previous drilling experience and a strong understanding of drilling operations.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to analyze complex data.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for new product development and technology.
Other Essential Skills:
  1. Excellent communication skills in all forms, including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
  3. A positive attitude towards dealing with people and a willingness to take initiative.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
