Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pitch captivating ideas to our commissioning teams based on intellectual property derived from our journalism.
  • Guide projects from initial concept through to production, ensuring a seamless transition at each stage.
  • Explore our extensive archives to uncover relevant materials suitable for scripted adaptation.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to identify contemporary stories that can be developed into scripted formats.
  • Gain insights into the creative priorities of our partners by working closely with teams across multiple locations.
  • Craft compelling pitches for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work alongside our partners to refine ideas, providing constructive feedback on creative treatments and talent selection.
  • Support the production process to bring these ideas to fruition.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in scripted content development, preferably within a television or film production environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and storytelling techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and passion for content creation.
  • Exceptional creative thinking skills, with a knack for inspiring others.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and persuasively.
