About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our team at SF Recruitment. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing and implementing effective demand planning and forecasting strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide accurate forecast/demand plans to vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to provide order forecasts and raise purchase orders, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
  • Manage deliveries in coordination with freight forwarders, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Define forward order plans and provide visibility to the purchasing clerk to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock days, on-time-in-full (OTIF), and availability metrics are met.
  • Manage long stocks and exit plans, working closely with the commercial team to prevent stock issues and optimize inventory levels.
  • Work with vendors to optimize lead time, minimum order quantity (MOQ), maximum order quantity (MOV), and stock days, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations.
  • Prepare internal reports for weekly trading meetings and take ownership of availability and stock KPIs, providing insights to drive business growth.
  • Support vendors to ensure adherence to delivery lead times and maintain availability, ensuring a seamless supply chain experience.
  • Agree on promotional and new product forecasts with category managers and ensure timely deliveries, ensuring a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Experience working with vendors, particularly in the Far East, with a deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and material requirements planning (MRP) systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
