Branded Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at a globally respected client who develops cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving improved performance across the external supply chain, ensuring the planning and on-time delivery of a defined portfolio of components across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the demand schedule to ensure correct flow down to suppliers and delivery commitments/forecasts to the Client.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier delivery, including regular visits to suppliers to understand current status and identify potential risks.
- Work with other functions to resolve issues impacting a supplier's ability to deliver, including invoice clearance, commercial disputes, technical/quality queries, or insufficient purchase order coverage.
- Create and execute arrears recovery plans for parts/suppliers who are behind plan, utilizing an appropriate suite of planning and control tools.
The ideal candidate will have business experience within planning, manufacturing, and/or supply chain, with proficient user skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel is essential) and working knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP MRP, Production Planning & Material Management.
