KPI Recruiting Ltd is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

As a Logistics Coordinator, your work schedule will be:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating shifts on a three-week cycle
  • 07:00 - 16:00 / 09:00 - 18:00 / 10:00 - 19:00

The compensation for the Logistics Coordinator position is:

  • £12.50 per hour

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and organizing bookings within the logistics management system, ensuring prompt and precise processing.
  • Coordinating daily driver schedules and ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately handled for each delivery and collection.
  • Preparing essential shipping documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, and proof of delivery.
  • Updating the logistics management system with tracking information and maintaining accurate records of delivery confirmations.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues across our internal network to provide updates on freight movements.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting any transportation challenges that may occur.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and reporting tasks.
  • Ensuring operational efficiency by following established procedures, protocols, and schedules.
  • Complying with company health and safety regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate for the Logistics Coordinator role will possess:

  • A foundational understanding of distribution planning principles and vehicle capacities.
  • Strong IT proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Robust problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • The capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and principles.
