Swimming Instruction Assistant

At Leisure (Operations), we are dedicated to fostering an environment where individuals can thrive through physical activity and wellness. As a Swimming Instruction Assistant, you will be integral in guiding swimmers of various ages, assisting them in enhancing their abilities and self-assurance in the aquatic environment. Working in tandem with the lead Swimming Teacher, you will facilitate small group sessions that are both engaging and effective.

Role Overview:

  • Assist the Swimming Teacher in conducting swimming lessons
  • Engage with participants from infants to adults
  • Support the enhancement of swimming techniques and personal confidence

Candidate Profile:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in working with children
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Prior involvement in supporting swimming instruction or youth classes is advantageous
  • Possession of a Level 1 UKCC Swimming Teacher qualification, or an equivalent certification
