About the Role

Loughborough University is seeking an exceptional Director of Marketing and Advancement to lead our marketing, communications, student recruitment, and development activities. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and driving our reputation forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance our brand and reputation
  • Lead a team of creative and dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns and student recruitment initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the university to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to inform our marketing and recruitment strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, with a strong track record of success in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
