Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with a range of family law matters and undertaking your own advocacy.
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases.
  • Deal with correspondence, prepare and manage funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency, and prepare draft documents.
  • Attend conferences and court, maintain accurate time costing procedures, and implement recommendations made by your supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with file management and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate passion and legal experience in a broad range of family law.
  • Hold a strong academic background with a Law degree.
  • Have a clear understanding and application of family law.
  • Exhibit business acumen and the ability to market the company.
  • Display excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively with all types of people.
  • Have excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and document management.
