Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trusts, including UK, offshore, and charitable trusts
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client files, investment performance, and trust operations
  • Review and prepare trust accounts, tax returns, and financial statements
  • Prepare inheritance tax forms, calculate trust distributions, and ensure accurate maintenance of ledgers and cash-flow schedules
  • Prepare bills, perform WIP analysis, and manage financial aspects of client portfolios
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including CRS, FATCA, Economic Substance, BO Registers, Trust Registers, and AML
  • Liaise with tax authorities (e.g., HMRC, IRS) and work towards tax efficiencies for UK-domiciled clients, focusing on inheritance tax (IHT), capital gains tax (CGT), and other relevant areas
  • Prepare and review trust-related documents, including minutes, resolutions, and other legal documents
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trust activities, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place and compliant with regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in trust administration, with a proven track record in managing high-net-worth client portfolios
  • Strong understanding of UK and offshore trust structures, tax implications, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality client service
