Job Title: Registered Nurse - Sandiway Lodge

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sandiway Lodge Nursing Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans, and review and update as necessary.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by doctors and in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Lead and participate in handovers, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and care staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and effective.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working in a care home setting, preferably with a similar age range and care needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
