We are seeking an Import Customs Supervisor to become a vital part of our dynamic and friendly team. This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000.

The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional Saturday mornings available for overtime compensation.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Air Imports Team to ensure that daily operational criteria and KPIs are met efficiently across all accounts.
  • Manage billing, cost assessments, and the logistics of goods movement, ensuring timely Customs clearances and deliveries.
  • Assist the team throughout the complete import process for all shipments, from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with international offices, partners, and agents to foster strong working relationships.
  • Ensure the seamless operation of the department and provide assistance when necessary, serving as a point of contact for escalations.
  • Inspire and motivate the air imports team through ongoing communication, shared goals, and support for professional development.
  • Oversee job costing to guarantee maximum profitability for the organization.
  • Act as a deputy for the Air Manager during their absence at weekly operations meetings.

Required Experience:
  • Familiarity with the EU market and customs regulations.
  • Experience in customs operations for air imports.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Ability to manage a diverse and busy workload while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
