Shift Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Engineer to join our team at Culina Group. As a Shift Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our technical function and maintaining company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Production team in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Provide engineering solutions and support to the operational team.
- Monitor and maintain all machines and ancillary plant to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules to minimize downtime.
- Perform repairs during production and planned maintenance to ensure minimal disruption.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues and departments to achieve business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to enhance machine performance.
- Support colleague training and development to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Ensure good work practices and housekeeping are maintained throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Experience working in a food factory environment is highly desirable.
- Fully completed apprenticeship with packing experience is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy is essential for effective communication and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to motivate and collaborate with colleagues.
- Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive attitude and focus on meeting deadlines.
