Availability Requirements
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team, with availability during the following hours: Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:15 PM.
Our starting pay for Pharmacy Technicians is £12.95 per hour, increasing to £14.08 for locations within the M25. Additional compensation may be available based on location and skill set.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours of work per week for new team members, with the option to work as few as 12 hours if preferred. We value flexibility and are open to discussing your availability.

Your role will extend beyond medication dispensing; you will engage with customers to enhance their experience through various health services, including smoking cessation support, medication reviews, blood pressure checks, and blood glucose testing. Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy operations. We seek a collaborative team member who can undertake the following tasks:
Assist in managing one of our modern pharmacy locations. Utilize your technical expertise and customer service skills to accurately dispense medications. Ensure precision and attention to detail when handling prescription medications. Communicate effectively with customers, providing information in a friendly and professional manner. Offer guidance on common health issues, symptoms, and available products. Understand customer needs and explain product benefits clearly, ensuring appropriate sales. Advise customers on the range of pharmacy services offered. Support the delivery of pharmacy services and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures. Evaluate the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions. Address clinical and legal inquiries from healthcare professionals within your expertise. Respond to customer inquiries regarding prescription medications and report any complaints to the Pharmacist. Maintain compliance with dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures. Keep dispensary and consultation areas organized and free from clutter. Ensure timely and accurate completion of prescription administration. Implement promotional activities and company initiatives within the team. Execute all procedures accurately to safeguard profitability and ensure compliance. Assist the Pharmacy Manager in supervising and developing pharmacy team members through coaching and feedback. Maintain a personal development record with the GPhC and complete necessary training. Stay informed about legal and professional developments in pharmacy. Maintain annual registration with the GPhC.
Qualifications Required
NVQ qualification as a pharmacy technician or accuracy checking technician (or equivalent). Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician. Proof of completion of a recognized training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician. Evidence of fulfilling annual Continuing Professional Development requirements.
