As a Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management and performance of between 8-15 pharmacies. You will build capable and competent teams to deliver the best community pharmacy experience, focusing on delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgets, ensuring patient safety, and that quality and standards are delivered across all pharmacies.

You will visit each pharmacy every two weeks (minimum), leaving SMART actions to drive business performance. You will deliver excellent standards through ensuring compliance with all processes and procedures.

You will monitor competitor activity to look for opportunities to grow market share. You will ensure that all pharmacies meet the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards and requirements of the National Health Service (NHS) contract.

You will ensure delivery of all quality standards required by the NHS. You will ensure that the team actively promotes and delivers all NHS and private services.

You will ensure all complaints and incidents are reported, resolved, or escalated as appropriate. You will actively build and maintain strong relationships with the local healthcare community.

High Performance Team

You will actively manage performance through effective coaching and feedback in addition to formal reviews. You will identify and develop both internal and external talent, providing a talent pipeline.

You will have experience of field/multi-site management - either in a business-as-usual (BAU) capacity, responsible for cross-regional working (manage a relief team) and/or as part of a project.

You will have sound commercial and analytical skills. You will have effective coaching and feedback skills. You will have strong planning and organizing skills - able to manage conflicting priorities and allocate resource effectively.

You will be able to build and maintain highly effective professional networks through building relationships with internal and external stakeholders based on mutual trust.

You will understand the requirements of the NHS contract and the GPhC/PSNI standards.
