Position Overview
- Oversee the management of research nursing staff, including recruitment and training of new personnel.
- Ensure adherence to procedural compliance.
- Provide comprehensive supervision, development, and execution of study delivery strategies.
- Enhance, develop, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation in line with study requirements and ensure the team practices this appropriately.
- Encourage and comply with company SOPs, protocols, and Health and Safety Regulations.
Candidate Profile
- NMC Registration is mandatory.
- Experience and knowledge in Clinical Research.
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice and prior experience in a clinical trial environment.
- Valid Immediate Life Support certification is required.
- Completion of Immunisation and Vaccination training for healthcare providers.
- Solid clinical knowledge.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities and supervise effectively.
- Proficient in recording medical history, vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy, and eager to learn new skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team of clinical professionals and foster a productive and fulfilling work atmosphere.
- Capacity to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated leadership and strong motivational capabilities.
- Understanding of ethical practices and confidentiality standards.
- Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Previous experience managing the workload of a nursing team is essential.
- At least 12 months of experience within the UK healthcare system.
- Well-developed knowledge of clinical supervision.
- Experience in providing clinical training.
