About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Peterborough, NH. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care within a fast-paced medical/surgical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across the medical/surgical unit.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire or a Compact State.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical/Surgical setting.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to read vital signs and administer injections/vaccinations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to float to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) when necessary.
Certifications:
- ACLS and BLS (AHA) certification required.
- PALS and Tele Strip certification preferred.
