To contribute to a safe, efficient, and effective engineering environment at our Attleborough site, ensuring the production of high-quality meals. This involves delivering maintenance routines, including building machinery, facilities, and reactive fault finding, as well as root cause analysis of site breakdowns and other tasks to support the efficient running of the engineering environment.
Shift Details:4 on 4 off, with a 1.5x overtime allowance. Inclusive hourly rate. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain, manage, diagnose, repair, and understand food processing machinery, site services, and automation and control systems.
- Deliver planned, preventative, reactive, and predictive maintenance, enhancing existing systems, processes, and documents.
- Ensure high performance while adopting safe systems of work, without impacting personnel, food safety, product quality, and the environment.
- Understand and support site and engineering compliance, managing and maintaining engineering workspaces.
- Display a positive approach to change and a can-do attitude.
- Be creative, agile, and resilient to cater to organizational and market needs.
- Hold training, accreditations, qualifications, and experience in multiple engineering disciplines: mechanical, electrical, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, water, steam, boilers, and FMCG environments.
- Work well as part of a team and autonomously.
- Communicate, work cross-functionally, and build relationships with cross-functional factory shift teams.
