Position Summary:
Aardman Animations is on the lookout for a talented CG Pipeline Engineer to enhance our Digital Production Technology division. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in a long-form production initiative, focusing on the creation and upkeep of pipeline solutions tailored for the CG and VFX sectors. This position will facilitate improved operational workflows for artists utilizing various 2D and 3D applications, while also aiding in the seamless incorporation of stop-motion projects into the overall pipeline.
Primary Duties:
- Design and sustain pipeline solutions for the CG/VFX sectors
- Offer technical expertise and assistance to colleagues
- Develop comprehensive documentation and instructional materials for tools and integrations
- Tailor scripted solutions to fulfill departmental requirements
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and graphics-oriented programming
- Familiarity with software such as Maya, Nuke, and Houdini
- Understanding of cloud-based project management tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
