About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Developer to join our Digital Production Technology team at Aardman Animations.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Python and associated ecosystems, as well as extensive skills and experience in graphics-related programming.
Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining pipeline tools for the CG and VFX department, enabling more effective working patterns for artists using a range of 2D and 3D software.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of version control workflows and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with creative software such as Maya, Nuke, and Houdini would be beneficial, including cloud-based project management systems like Shotgrid/Ftrack.
About You
We are looking for a self-motivated and positive individual who is familiar with a CG animation environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to proactively pass on technical knowledge to other department members and produce relevant documentation and tutorials for tools and integrations.
