Teaching Personnel is excited to present this opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant within a Nurture class.
A secondary institution in Stretford is currently on the lookout for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Nurture classes. The position involves providing personalized support for students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), in accordance with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The students are currently functioning at a primary academic level, and some personal care responsibilities may be required based on the needs of the school.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the classroom teacher to foster an inclusive and stimulating learning atmosphere for these students. Some aspects of behavior management may also be part of this role. This position is particularly suitable for individuals with prior experience in special educational needs or caregiving.
This is a temporary-to-permanent position, meaning the selected Teaching Assistant will initially work on a trial basis, compensated through timesheets via Teaching Personnel.
- Competitive daily rate starting at £84, paid weekly through PAYE (no agency fees).
- Full-time commitment required, Monday to Friday.
- Weekly payments processed on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel.
- Position available for immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
- Accessible location via public transport or car, with on-site parking available.
