Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant

Location: Bermondsey

Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Salary: £90-£110 per day

We're seeking an experienced teaching assistant to support a year 2 class at a school in Bermondsey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.

- Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

- Providing pastoral care and support to pupils with ASD.

- Helping to create a positive learning environment.

- Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources.

- Liaising with parents and carers.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to work as part of a team.

- A positive and proactive attitude.

- DBS check (within one year or on the update service).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
