About the Role: As a Theatre Nurse, you will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway. This will involve providing skilled clinical and technical assistance, as well as peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway
  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance
  • Deliver peri-operative and post-operative care
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical and refractive team

Requirements:

  • Registered RGN or Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC/HCPC Registration
  • Minimum of one year post-qualified theatre experience
  • Strong desire to provide the best possible person-centred care
  • Ophthalmic experience is desirable, but not essential
