Job Summary:

As a Sales and Design Consultant, you will be responsible for selling high-end products to discerning clients, working closely with the creative and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and artistic merit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and build positive relationships with clients to create lifetime business opportunities.
  • Develop and present client proposals that showcase the company's unique products.
  • Participate in the end-to-end sales cycle, including post-sale follow-up, work-in-progress, and post-sale deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company database, adhering to established systems and processes.
  • Host and attend tours of the company's workshops and studios, as well as marketing events to drive new business.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in high-end sales environments, such as contemporary art and/or design, preferably with a focus on furniture and lighting.
  • At least 3 years of client-facing sales experience, with a track record of selling products in the £5k to £100k price range.
  • Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Photoshop, Microsoft, and CRM software, as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • A proven sales record and experience in generating new business leads.

  • A competitive salary of £35k, plus an on-target bonus and uncapped commission structure.
