Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Orion Group. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for working within a fabrication workshop, where you will measure and mark out plates and sections for cutting, shaping, and drilling. You will also operate machinery, read and interpret technical engineering drawings, and ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure and mark out plates and sections for cutting, shaping, and drilling
- Operate machinery
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager and Project Engineers
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Previous experience in an Engineering or Oil & Gas environment
