Job Summary:
Orion Group is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team in a long-term capacity. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for working within a fabrication workshop, performing various tasks such as measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting, shaping, and drilling, operating machinery, and reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark out plates and sections for cutting, shaping, and drilling
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager and Project Engineers
Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualifications and previous experience preferably gained within an Engineering/Oil & Gas environment
