SOCOMEC U.K. LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the South - West region. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales for our Critical Power products within the region, including Channel distribution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to fully exploit Critical Power opportunities within the South - West region.
- Refer potential Power Control and Energy Efficiency enquires to PCS / EE Sales team.
- Generate sales for Socomec Critical power products within the South - West area.
- Implement and support channel distribution targeting existing power specialists in the region to act as partners supporting the Socomec sales strategy.
- Production of quotations for major critical power projects.
- Act as the specialist, with the support from the Socomec technical pre-sales support teams, working day-to-day with large end- users, design-and build-contractors and specifiers (consultants and regulatory organisations) within the UK to promote Socomec critical power offer.
- Ensure that Socomec's critical power products are specified in RFQ documents for all appropriate major UK projects.
- Present new Socomec Critical Power technology to large end-users, design-and build-contractors and specifiers highlighting benefits of using Socomec products.
- Carry out a regular program of CPDs and other technical seminars with national consultancy groups.
- With support from the Business Application and Marcoms team organise industry specific events in the area to promote Socomec products.
- Work with the Business Application and Marcoms team to customise sales and technical information for the UK market as well as gather, consolidate, analyse and feed- back market intelligence to support development of Business Application strategy and offer creation.
- Support other colleagues working in Critical Power, Energy Efficiency, Power Control and Safety, Energy Storage to ensure that Socomec maximises the potential of any new opportunity within the South - West area and beyond.
- Delivery CPD`s to M&E Consultants.
- Build a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Socomec's product range and their role within a client's electrical infrastructure.
- Develop a good understanding of the quantifiable benefits Socomec products can bring to a client and how these compare with competitive offers.
- Technical degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- An electrical or electronics engineering background is essential.
- Strong experience selling Critical Power UPS and STS products.
- Experience selling into the IT Channel or to Specialist Power VARs (Value Added Reseller) would be beneficial.
