A thriving online technology firm is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join their finance team in their UK office on a permanent basis.

Working collaboratively within a compact team and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the role of the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will encompass managing the collection of outstanding payments from clients, performing general accounting duties, and undertaking various additional responsibilities. This position is diverse and will provide opportunities for increased responsibilities as the individual develops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with clients through multiple channels to expedite the payment of overdue invoices
  • Monitoring and tracking payment statuses
  • Identifying discrepancies and resolving billing issues for clients
  • Negotiating payment arrangements
  • Investigating and reconciling any outstanding items
  • Assisting with general financial administrative tasks as needed

Candidate Profile:

  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in a collections/accounts receivable environment
  • Familiarity with high-volume credit control or collections settings
  • Ideal for an ACCA or CIMA student or someone with AAT level 3 or 4 qualifications
  • May also suit a recent finance or accounting graduate with relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communicator who enjoys both teamwork and independent responsibilities
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Able to maintain focus while working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
