People Group Limited is seeking to appoint an NEC 4 Project Supervisor with a strong background in rail client-side operations to join a prominent rail consultancy focusing on AFA Schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the advancement of site activities, conducting regular site visits to assess the progress and quality of work in alignment with contractual obligations and local regulations.
Assist the Project Manager in evaluating and managing contractor performance against established Key Performance Indicators.
Provide insights on value engineering solutions that influence the construction strategy proposed by the contractor to manage expenses.
Participate in the formulation and execution of a Soft Landings strategy and handover timeline for the project, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
Lead the coordination of defect schedules, collaborating with other consultants as necessary, distributing defect lists, and overseeing the rectification of identified issues.
Establish a formal testing and inspection verification process.Supervise the testing and commissioning of structural, mechanical, electrical, and public health services to ensure compliance with the agreed methods, logic, and schedules, as well as adherence to commissioning specifications.
Engage with local authorities, project organizers, and site contractors to gather feedback, provide progress updates, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Essential
Proven experience as an NEC 4 Supervisor
A degree or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
Experience working with Rail Clients, Local Authorities, or Consultancies.
