Job Summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is collaborating with a UK-based charity to find a skilled Communications Executive to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be fully remote, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

About the Role

As a Communications Executive, you will play a crucial part in elevating the charity's brand awareness by leveraging media and social media platforms. You will report to the Communications Manager and be an integral member of the Communications team, responsible for:

  • Identifying and Developing Key Messages

Discover and develop compelling stories that align with the charity's mission and values, driving greater visibility and awareness.

  • Media and External Relations

Identify and engage with external parties for media coverage opportunities, maintaining and regularly updating the media database.

  • Content Creation and Distribution

Produce high-quality public relations content, including press releases, website content, and social media posts. Develop and implement impactful social media strategies to increase online awareness and engagement.

  • Relationship Building and Management

Establish and nurture strong relationships with external parties who can enhance the charity's visibility through their coverage.

  • Writing and Adaptation

Use advanced writing skills to adapt to diverse audiences and platforms, ensuring effective communication of the charity's stories.
