Simply Gym is undergoing an exciting transformation following its acquisition by JD Gyms. We are seeking to expand our General Assistant team to support this growth.
This position demands a collaborative individual with a keen sense of business acumen, as well as the enthusiasm and commitment to enhance and evolve the gym's operations alongside the General Manager.
We are in search of a manager who possesses the expertise to uphold and elevate our standards and reputation, while fostering a thriving membership community and a motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the gym.
- Take on the General Manager's duties in their absence.
- Contribute to the commercial success of the facility.
- Ensure operational excellence within the club.
- Achieve established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff, guiding them towards success.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in a management role within the leisure industry is essential.
- A passion for customer service and the ability to inspire through effective leadership.
- Must hold at least a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
- Proven track record in driving sales and coordinating local marketing initiatives, along with managing a successful team.
- Experience as an Assistant Manager or substantial experience in a Fitness Manager role or similar operational capacity is preferred.
