Fright Nights Event Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Thorpe Park, the UK's favourite theme park. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough bag checks and personal searches to maintain a secure environment
- Patrol the resort, being vigilant for any potential threats to the safety of the park
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, working closely with the on-site First Aid team
- Collaborate with the Surrey Police to reduce anti-social behaviour and maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all
- Assist with asset transfers and other security-related tasks as required
- SIA licence is mandatory for this role
- Must be over 18 years old
- Excellent de-escalation skills and conflict management abilities, combined with SIA training
- Crowd management skills are essential for this role
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends
- Approachable and confident, with a strong ability to work closely with other departments
- Willingness to drive standards and contribute to a positive team culture
