At ProtonMail, we're on a mission to create a better internet, where privacy is the default. As a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in protecting our users' sensitive information and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our security team to develop and improve our security posture
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based systems used by the security team
  • Ensure the operation of critical services that must run reliably 24/7
  • Debug and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently, applying your problem-solving skills to maintain system stability and performance
  • Automate routine tasks using configuration management tools and scripting languages
  • Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective solutions
  • Monitor system performance, ensure system availability, and reliability
  • Provide technical engineering support and guidance to the security team in all of its projects
  • Assist the security team with monitoring network and systems activities for security breaches and respond to incidents
Requirements:
  • Motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for cybersecurity
  • Proficient with Linux-based systems and services administration
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting languages
  • Knowledge in IAM tools, processes, and workflows
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent English communication and teamwork skills
