About the Role

Expleo Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer for Industrial Systems to join our team. As a key member of our OT Cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advice on OT cybersecurity solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on OT systems to identify potential security threats and propose effective security controls.
  2. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices for OT environments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Provide technical expertise and support in the design and implementation of secure OT network architectures to protect against cyber threats.
  4. Work closely with technical authorities, internal teams, and customer teams to ensure project alignment and delivery.
  5. Support the growth of Expleo Group's cybersecurity practice through conference attendance, publications, and workshop participation.
  6. Travel between Expleo Group and customer sites as required to support project delivery.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in OT cybersecurity and a proven track record of providing technical expertise and advice on OT cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will have relevant education or industry-recognised certifications in computing-related subjects suited to a senior role in OT cybersecurity.

Essential Skills

  1. Industrial Control Systems (ICS) knowledge: Understanding of SCADA systems, PLCs, DCS, and other ICS components used in industrial environments.
  2. Network security: Expertise in network protocols, segmentation, firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure network architecture for OT environments.
  3. Risk management: Ability to conduct risk assessments, prioritise threats, and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to OT infrastructures.

Desired Skills

  1. Experience with industrial protocols: Hands-on experience working with and securing industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, and PROFIBUS.
  2. Implementation of security controls in OT environments: Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing security controls specifically for OT systems, including network segmentation and endpoint protection.

Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of experience in roles requiring technical expertise in OT cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have experience working with OT systems in either automotive, transportation, or critical national infrastructure.
