Position Summary
We are on the lookout for Funding Managers to join our Genetics and Molecular Sciences division within Research Funding. In this role, you will oversee, assess, and allocate grant applications with efficiency. You will act as a vital resource for our research community, offering guidance and support throughout the grant process. This position provides the chance to engage with innovative research proposals from esteemed academics, contributing to the advancement of exceptional scientific breakthroughs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process grant applications for Discovery Research initiatives
- Provide expert guidance and support to grant recipients
- Manage a diverse portfolio of grants from application through to award
- Facilitate the expert review process
- Collaborate with grant recipients and research institutions for effective grant oversight
- Advocate for diversity and inclusivity within the organization
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in a relevant biomedical discipline
- Experience in academic research settings
- Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent skills in building relationships
