Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with students in our Inclusion Centre. This role would suit an individual with a background in social care or youth work, who is passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with students, staff, and external partners to provide a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and implement programmes to support students' social, emotional, and academic needs.
  • Provide guidance and advice to students, staff, and parents on matters related to inclusion and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote inclusion and diversity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address barriers to inclusion, and develop strategies to promote equality and diversity.

Requirements:

  • Essential requirement: ability to converse at ease with customers and service users, and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
  • Desirable: experience working in a similar role, or in social care or youth work.

Working Arrangements:

This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be employed by Rochdale Council. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
